Not every water connection needs a full-length hose. Sometimes the tap, filter or tank inlet is right beside your van, and pulling out metres of hose simply creates more gear to unroll, manage and pack away.

Use one between an external water filter and your van, for close-range tank filling, as an extension when your main hose falls just short, or to make filter back-flushing and storage easier.

Ideal for External Water Filters

If you run an external water filter, your main drinking water hose can connect the tap to the filter while the short hose completes the connection from the filter to your caravan or motorhome.

Once you're finished, the short hose can also be used to connect the ends of a compatible filter for tidy, drip-free storage during transit. It's a simple way to keep residual water contained rather than finding it throughout your storage compartment.

Which Length Should I Choose?

1.25m – Best for dedicated filter setups

Choose the 1.25m hose when your filter sits close to a low-mounted caravan water inlet. Its shorter length makes filter connection, back-flushing and drip-free pack-up quick and easy while taking up minimal storage space.

It's less suited to tank filling or extending your main hose where additional reach is required.

2.5m – Best for versatility

Choose the 2.5m hose if you'd like your short hose to do more than connect a filter. The additional length makes it useful for close-range tank filling and as a handy extension when your main hose doesn't quite reach.

It takes slightly longer to roll away than the 1.25m version, but gives you more flexibility around camp.
