Designed as a universal awning hardware kit, it suits Dometic 8700 awnings and can also be used with existing 8300, 8500 & 9000 awning barrels.

Important Information: Flat wall installation only.

Wall Height And Sizing Information:

There are three sizes of 8700 hardware available. Always install the largest size that suits your caravan wall height.

Ultra Short (This Kit) :
Minimum wall height required – 1475 mm

Standard (Previously Short):
Minimum wall height required – 1620 mm

Tall :
Minimum wall height required – 1925 mm

 

Replacing Existing Hardware?

To determine your current hardware size, measure your Main Arm length:

• Ultra Short Main Arm – 1350 mm
• Standard Main Arm – 1550 mm
• Tall Main Arm – 1855 mm

 

If your existing main arm measures approximately 1350 mm, this is the correct replacement.
